Yes. They are manufactured with lead-free materials and are safe for potable water applications.

What types of copper pipe are compatible?

SurePress® Water Heater Connectors are designed for ASTM B88 Type K, L, and M hard copper tubing in 3/4″ nominal size.

What pressure and temperature ratings do these connectors have?

They are rated for a maximum operating pressure of 250 psi, a maximum burst pressure of 600 psi, and operating temperatures from 0°F to 200°F.
